Read more »If you have someone in your life who has experience a traumatic illness or injury you’ve probably heard of Caringbridge. It’s an amazing source of support, compassion and love in incredibly difficult times.
I don’t post about my first husband very often because it is a difficult topic, but today is All Saints day and I’m feeling quite open.
My first husband, Marshall, was a juvenile diabetic who had kidney failure and got very sick. After 16 weeks in the ICU he passed away on July 4th, 2006.
Northwest Arkansas has once again been ranked one of the lowest cost of living cities in the country. What are your favorite things about NWA?

Read more »There is a recurring topic of conversation in my life right now among my women (the women with whom I surround myself on a regular basis). It seems the topic of value keeps coming up. Maybe this is because I know a lot of women who are entrepreneurs, freelancers and small business owners. There are plenty of us who undervalue ourselves on a regular basis. I’m just as guilty as the next girl on occasion, but I’m better about it every day.
