The general rules in iPhone and iPad case design over the last few years (or since the existence of these items) have been that the case must:
1. look like it belongs on a constructions zone (see the very-popular Otter Box),
2. be very masculine OR
4. have a “Hello Kitty” or other pre-teen motif
No longer, friends! I have discovered something wonderful. A company called Tech Candy has produced iPhone and iPad cases that are stylish, modern and fully functional.

One of my most distinct memories from childhood is standing on a metal step stool at my great-grandmother’s house making sugar cookies. I remember the sweet vanilla smell; what the cutter felt like going into the rolled out and flour-coated dough; and the sound of the sprinkles in the shaker. I also remember the aprons Nanny wore. They were so 1955. So beautiful.

Ella’s uncle was asked to make a video of her. She’s a little bitty baby. You’d think it would be set to soft nursery rhymes. Nope.
This loving tribute will be cherished by the entire family not because it garners lots of oooooos and ahhhhs, but because he took the time to create something completely a part of himself.

Our family pictures were scheduled for 9:00 a.m. the next morning, which meant that if I didn’t find the perfect outfit there would be no time to find something else for the pictures, and my whole master Christmas card plan would fail. FAIL!

As a blogger I often get pitches from companies wanting me to talk about their products. 90% of the time I ignore them, but a couple of weeks ago I got one that really caught my attention for a couple reasons:
It contained useful/relevant information (read: It had REALISTIC FASHION tips for fall)
It was from a store that I would NEVER shop in, but the picture had a dress that I instantly FELL IN LOVE with. What???
I don’t know Lela’s secret per se and we’ve already talked about Kerri’s extreme calendaring. What I do know is that some kind soul introduced me to Pomodoro this summer and it just may have changed my life.
