Okay, so I’ve been working on a different post all day, but had the TV on in the background. My ears perked up when I heard Oprah mention the word, “iPad”. Um… what?
So now I’m sitting directly in front of the TV on an ottoman blogging live about her review.
Okay, here are her favorite things about the iPad:
- Being able to move your Kindle books to your iPad
- Alice in Wonderland and other interactive books
- Pictures
- Scrabble (I’m betting she means Words With Friends)
BTW, her gadget guru Omar Wasow is adorable. Ima have to look him up.
Omar loves his iPad because:
- He can read the news in bed
- He loves to take pictures and it’s easy for him to share photos
- He loves to play games and watch movies
- It’s going to change the way kids learn
- It has great battery life
I love the iPad, Oprah and now I love Omar.
Best Omar quote: “I learned to read on comics and I believe now there will be a whole generation that learns to read on the iPad.”
dude scrabble on the iPad is bad ass! mostly b/c the players can download a scrabble app on your iPhone and then you like flick them with your finger from your phone and they land on the iPad LIKE MAGIC.
you all have to be in the same room to play. it’s hilarious.
Oh, I didn’t even think about that Scrabble app. I’ve seen it, but haven’t tried it yet.
Down the rabbit hole…I am soooo eyeing an I-Pad. Do I shell out now or do I wait on the next generation????? C
